Hmmmm, well if it really works that easily without damaging other parts....soungs good.

But, the problem is that I don't think that the bearing assembly is supposed to come apart!! It's a sealed unit, "Grease the bearing, and re-install the hub...." I don't think so Tim. Their video SHOWS the bearings clearly exposed. So basically, the hub/bearing assembly will no longer support the wieght of the car without the axle install, and the nut torqued.......thereby HOLDING the bearing together on re-assembly.

Does that sound about right? Someone chime in if I'm off-kilter please.

From what I have heard, all that use it like it. I never looked at how it worked since I dont have to worry about it anymore. But I am sure someone has to have used it before.

I've always taken the spindle arm off and used a press. You don't have to mess with any suspension alignment angles and you get a good chance to check the bushings and all that good stuff. It may take longer but I don't like the way the tool pulls the bearing apart. I've never used it tho so I couldn't tell you for sure. It may save a mechanic time but may cost the owner more in parts down the road when the bearing goes bad and has to be pressed out anyways.

That tool is great, it makes the job take less than 1/2 the time it normally does.
I got it for work one day and am damn glad I did, worth the 200 bucks.
