steering system

ok guys i have a 90 ex. i was under the car to find out where a squicking noise comes from when i go over small bumps and wheni turn the steering wheel(didn't find the problem) and i see something odd. the steering system arms that conect the wheels with the steering system are different from eachother.
does anyone know why they are different.

2. why my steering wheel don't stay straight. the tires are balanced and rotated.
and i got kind of a empty space when i move the steerin wheel a lil bit.
how can i fix this problems

slack= to when u can turn the steerin wheel a lil bit or when the steering wheel stays kind of on the side ??????????
i don't know a lot of steering systems so bare with me please

lol ya,my friends got a 78 crown vic,that fucking thing moves a lot before it starts turning the wheels.

yeah i have slack too man. so how do i fix it. and what about the arms man . are they suppose to be different from each other.

well i have never had slack in my accord(s),is your steering wheel tight?you shure your tires are balanced and rotated?all the linkage linked up?and signs of leakage?
