Took the words out of my mouth.

Expensive? If you find buying wires and heatshrink tubing expensive then yes.
Hard? Can be, but you need patience for this.
Time consuming? Definately. It took me 4 days. I took my time and cleaned and repainted some parts of the chassis.

Not cleaner than jspec's (Im jealous) but clean for sure:
