PLEASE HELP- Shock mount bushing install.

Ok. I removed my entirel lower control arm. I torched out the lower control arm bushing, and cut/pounded out the metal "liner" or tube that holds the bushing.

I then put in my Prothane bushings.

I then torched out the SHOCK MOUNT BUSHING on the lower control arm, and also cut and pounded the metal sleve out.

When i went to put the new bushings in, they were WAY TOO LOOSE.

Was i supposed to leave the sleeve in????????

If soooooooo, what can i do now??! PLEASE HELP>>>> I"M WITHOUT A CAR.

pretty shure that sleave stays there.it holds the bushing snug in place.

crap. I don't know.

I'm kinda thinking the same thing, but i need to find someone who has done it themselves.
