I was riding home on my way off of 495and pulled in to my driveway and decided to check my intake. I turned the car off and popped the hood, and checked my intake. It was so hott i had to take my hand off. I was wandering why was it so hott. I cleaned out the filter today and will see later on what is going on with it. But i was just seeing if, anyone else if having this problem.

its hot cause its a metal tube underneath the hood of a motor

also when u tyrn off the motor or u r stoped at a light the gasses in your engin go out of the intake and and if you were going down a high way then it's gonna be hot any ways so id say there's nun wrong

i dont live in a city kin or environment. When my boy pulled his hood on his prelude, it was much colder then mine. I saw that the radiator hose is under it on my motor.. Advice....Dont go looking for problems that are not there. you will break something. Its hot..it happens...thats the way it is.No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.Comment
