I cant believe how cheap Walmart is. When all of Frams filters are produced in each batch they are tested several times for quality issues, execpt Walmarts batch, which has less tests to pass. Which means you might be getting an inferior product that wont protect your engine as well. I worked at UPS for five years and the mechanics took a tour of the facility where these are manufactured and that is what they told me. With Walmarts history this is easy to believe.

i hate to admit that i used a Fram on my latest oil change. first time ever i think for me. i was in a hurry and that was all that Kragen had. most of the time it's OEM filters.

Hamp Expensive but good. Well FRAM oil filters work for a while until the cardboard inside starts to take a crap on you then your fucked. All the oil testing is on bobistheoilguy.com I remember reading it a while back so might have to search for it.
