    new clutch

my car has 150k on the stock clutch, and working at a car dealer i have access to tools, lifts, and cheap parts... so im thinking new clutch while i still can, but which one????

*Saches clutch kit $210 from roadrunner (or something) with honda flywheel
*complete honda clutch kit, and fly for $250 from the dealer
*or eBay special Exedy clutch kit with exedy fly for $220

anyone have a saches(sp?) clutch, reviews, anything?

Do you have the organic disc? because he is talking about the oem replacement clutch.

Dude, you don't need a new flywheel, I just took mine to a reputable machine shop and they turned/resurfaced it for about $25. I purchased a OE Exedy clutch kit off of eBay for about $105.00. That was about 30k ago, still working excellent!

not always true, look at break pads.. almost same idea... auto zone pads last for like 10k miles, and honda pads for 30k+ didnt change my driving style, but the material changed. im not questioning my driving style, but rather the materials used.

same here. bought the OE Exedy of ebay for like $90 bucks and had the flywheel resurfaced. feels good as new! scratches second gear like nobody's business!

not that I do that kind of thing very often...
