well i was needing an oil change and like a moron didn't get it changed after 3k...so im sitting at a 4k oil change today, go get the oil, on the way home my car starts sputtering...pull up and pop the hood, one of my plug wires is jumping out of the valve cover sprayin oil...i check my stick and its almost dry! i checked it a few days ago and the oil level was fine just dark coloured...i put 2 quarts in and im afraid to start it

what do you think i fucked up, how can i fix it? please help in this time of need cb7tuners!

Well id start by checking if the spark plug was in right and tight. Could be your plug tube seals too but ive never seen oil spray out of a plug hole like your explained.

it isn't alot of oil that sprayed out just like a fine mist in the engine bay =\

and it sounds like it has a knock now

was the plug ever cross threaded cause thats what it sounds like and now its not holding the pressure ...

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.

i dont think it was ever cross threaded, i changed my plugs about 8 months ago wouldn't it have done this alot earlier if that was a problem?

i don't understand this post at all...this is something you look at and simply figure it out without even having to rack your brain......it's a common sense thing

oil is probably getting into the hole via the bad tube seals
it's popping off because it's either not latching and the oil is making it slippery and it's just jumping off OR you have air escaping around the threads of the plug from the combustion chamber and blowing it off, which means your plug isn't tight for one of two reasons:

              stripped
              loose

pull the plug and look at it
make sure it's snapping on well, maybe you will have to pull the actual wire snap OUT of the boot some......
....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.
