H22a4 rebuild

Lets say i pick up a h22a4 short block with 180K on it for 300 CDN.

The problem is a bottom end knock at one of the rods at crankshaft, also one cylinder has low compression. Is it possible to rebuild this engine, theoretically with new piston rings and a hone, and then replacing the crankshaft and rod bearings? Just kinda thinking outloud here, need feedback please.

well if the cylinders are worn out pretty bad, you could sleeve it, get some low comp pistons and turbo it
