    Car sputters upon take off

Ok I have this really annoying problem. It started a couple days ago while I was driving. (I ghetto-modded my o2 sensor, extended the harness so it could reach from the exhaust manifold to the other end of the plug underneath the intake manifold.)
Anyways back to the problem, so I was driving along and the car starts jerking forward kinda violently. I had changed the spark plugs and added oil (poor thing was a little thirsty ) so I added oil and continued on my way home....thats when I got really pissed because the car would start to try and die out on take off in first gear...so I push in the clutch and shift into 2nd then 3rd and so on..

Upon hiting 3rd the car starts to loose power...it got so bad that I had to keep shifting between 3 and 4 just to keep up in traffic. (of course this is where I realized I'm a dumbshit and had no oil because of that small oil leakin problem I have).

I unhooked the 02 and now it works fine except for that annoying CEL. Now the car lags like a mofo...I was wondering if anyone here knows and I mean KNOWS a place where I can get an extended o2 sensor without having to mod the wiring itself again because that was indeed a pain in my ass.

Just go to the junkyard and get a real o2 or a plug extender if your going to wire it wire it right solder it after cutting the extender like i did. On top of that you should now learn to keep up with your cb7 maintenance like i tell everyone.

it IS the o2 sensor or wires.

I had this same problem, but i replaced EVERYTHING, before i found out that it's the o2 sensor.

It didn't(like yours) have the normal symtoms of a bad o2 sensor, so i would have never guessed, but It was the ONLY thing i hadn't replace, so i gave it a try, and blamo! fixed.

Just fix it. DOn't run without one either. WAY too rich, way too slow, way too much gas, way to burn out your cat real quick too.
      Noobie my ASS.
