i did a auto to manual timing belt tensioner swap on my h22 that i swapped into my accord...for about a month now my car has been making a weird metallic rattling noise...and it sounds like it is coming from the head...i took it to a shop and the guy thought that the timing was off...so he pulled the covers and showed me that the timing belt was all chewed up...then he put a new timing belt on...the car still makes the noise...he also told me that the belt was real tight, but that he didnt think it was overly tight...if the timing belt is overly tight would it slip off of the camshafts? also i heard that using a h23 waterpump would make it not as tight, would this work?
