Its always burned a little bit of oil, but as soon as I took it on the highway shit happened. Before, at idle the exhaust just smelled like it was running rich. Now it smells like burning oil. The harder I drive the more it burns. Stupid thing.Comment

Compression test results were inconclusive. The rings should theoretically be fine, though there is massive carbon buildup on the pistons. The spark plug tips were also white, leading to believe that coolant is being cooked as well. So, headgasket and valve seals are on the agenda. I wish the piston rings were fried though, I would have an excuse to buy a good engine
Yeah the H22 is calling me. I think I may do it anyways, as the engine I found is a GEM, 27000 or so kilometeres with a tiptronic transmission. I wouldnt use the tranny as it wouldnt mount up, but if anyone is interested in a tiptronic setup LMK and I'll foreward you to my friend. 
New job soon too, so I'll have some disposable income. Joyus.
