transmission problem???

okay, this problem has been happin since i bought the car last sept. of 2005, and the problem happens very rarely, it has happen to me about 4-6 times in the year

the problem: you cant shift to drive from park, this is auto trans, its like stuck and you shift at all, then maybe after 5 mins of tryin to shift, it shifts!!! iam like wtf is doin that? is my trans going out?? i have engine mount problems and prolly a trans mount problem also since i feel vibrations when i go over 40mph and everytime i reverse..

is my transmission going out???

in my experience with my old auto CB, i adjusted the shifter cable when this happened to me, and it was a simple fix. It COULD be more, but when it came to my tranny, that fixed her temporarily. The trans did eventually go, but then again that was cause i boosted her to 9 pounds with a tranny that had 240k miles, so i'm surprised it lasted a full year anyways.
