The internal coil distributor on my f22a1 is shot and ive got an external coil distributor and distributor cap from a f22a4 in my basement but dont have the coil what do i need besides the external coil to install this.

what exactly is "shot" in the distributor? -
if the internal coil in the old dizzy is still good, itd be easy to convert the new dizzy to internal. or you could find an OEM external coil and wire and convert your car to external. like wed3k asked, whats the actual problem youre having?
