kinda...the pin from the ecu i think is a negitive ground switch..

and the other wire from the box goes to a 12v power. i think as nutbucket described it just completes the circut to have a ground
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

ok i checked the ecu just now. man its a17. hooked up and ready. i had it right. i checked it soo many times.

          now im wondering this.

there are 2 wires, pink and the black one...what if the black one is supposed to be gounded and the pink is a constant battery voltage? cause remember how my ecu was just sending out battery voltagE? what if thats the problem?

but another thing to concider, if black is the ground then wat controls it to turn off and on =/

as for now imma make a ground switch to the IAB and put it inside the car. unless i find another point where i can put it and the iab can be computer controled.

any ideas? if my ecu was fuked then wouldnt it send out a code? ill guess ill wait for thewhoanah to do his and see what voltage he is putting out.

          im stumped.

oh i tested the IAB by connecting the black to constant and pink to ground and it worked.

          thanks for any help.

So you're sure there weren't any shorts? If so, then it would seem your ECU is f'd. Either that, or somehow it isn't an EX ECU? I suppose you could rig a shift light to activate the IAB, tho it seems like a waste.

maybe someone can tell me their voltage from that connector? hehe

nothing shorted. power is fine. ecu is great. its odd.
