Odd door problem

My passenger side door on my coupe wont open from the inside or outside but if you use the key on the door it will open right up. (Turn the key to unlock and open at the same time)

Haven't pulled the door apart yet, but wanted to know if anyone had exp with this.

I would take off the panel and check if a lock rod came off, make sure the one on the handle is still there...etc

Have you checked the chiled safety lock switch? The switch may be part of the cause.
