i was searching around i found out that the type r rims lug pattern and prelude lug patterns were the same, 5x114.3. So i was wondering if i was to do a 5 lug conv. on the prelude, would the prelude fit on to the accord?

Yes. The easiest way is just to replace the whole knuckle with the Prelude unit. Same for the rear, and you end up with rear discs too (if you didn't already, And if you do, there are people who want to buy them from you).Originally posted by accordeX

To specify what Kabuki is saying, you need to swap over the steering knuckle with the rotor and hub as well. And most important of all, wheels. You're going o regret doing a 5-lug conversion real quick if you do all of it without thinking about the wheels. But if you've got a Prelude to get the steering knuckles off of, then you've probably got access to its wheels as well. Also, does anyone know if the wheel bearing is any different between models? I don't think that it is but that would also be some critical information to know.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
