    help .... running rich

Alright..... I have an issue I can't figure out..... I just finished swapping in an f22b1...... I have EVERYTHING hooked up correct and car is running with NO CEL's but I am running super rich......

I am getting like 15 miles to the gallon rich.....

here is what I have done so far......

    double checked vacuum
    new exhaust
    new o2 sensor
    new FPR
new plugs, wires cap and rotor
retard timing (did not help much so changed it back)
    new EGR valve
cleaned EGR ports (thanks for the write up and PDF files)

today I am gonna wire up the Map sensor to the TB design that the F22b1 uses instead of the CC that the 91 has

any ideas? I am almost stumpped.....

    What ECU you using?

How you have the MAP sensor hooked up now?

How is the TPS sensor working & hooked up?

My guess is something in your air intake system is fooling the computer into thinking you have more air than you do....or wrong FPR or it hooked up wrong, vacuum line pinched, etc....what injectors you using (ie. ones for your engine?).

someone had an EGR valve gasket leak that caused to run rich....

in general check for vacuum leaks
