so I'm half way done with my DIY pholyurithane mount I just want to ask since I have an H22 accord, I dont have a front mount yet cuz we took it off when we did the swap and someone jacked it and they said that I didnt need it anyway but I'm planning on istalling it again so do you think I was loosing power on the ground cuzz I dont have that support? I would guess I did.

I know, but isnt it true if I have the front mount also and have all four of my mount reinforced with the pholyurithane would that help getting rid of the wheel hop and putting all the power to the ground due to a stiffer mounts?Originally posted by bresk8r87youre not losing any power, the engine is still supported fine. the front mount is to hold it steady really, the amount the engine moves doesnt impact how much power is made... thats all internal. all thats doing is giving you a bumpy ride

yup.. it will help u from wheel hops and.. idles will be a bit shakier as well..Originally posted by aznpnoyracerI know, but isnt it true if I have the front mount also and have all four of my mount reinforced with the pholyurithane would that help getting rid of the wheel hop and putting all the power to the ground due to a stiffer mounts?
but all 4 mounts dont' have to have fills...mainly the front and rear mounts.. the engine moves back and force due to the torque.-:¦:-

yeah no loss in power should be generated from the lack of that mount. now again launching it is a different story. i have inserts on my rear and front mounts and i get some idle vibrations. i have no engine movement though
. filling the mount will make it more harsh.
that's good that you're returning that front mount. it's there for a reason.
