h22a auto lsd tranny problems.

Its gotta suck having these problems, but im kinda glad ppl post things like this up. That way i, or other ppl who plan on doing an AT lsd h-swap, can kinda keep an eye out for problems and if/when they arrise they know how to fix them

even tho i filled with proper level and brand new fluid. it looked pastey white when checked this morning and also had a black tint to some of it. WTF.

i WILL probably drain that out asap and buy some of that fluid from Honda

bump. i unplugged the solenoids, and plugged then right back in and didnt.


the solenoids look to me like u have to take them off in pairs of 2. so there is 2 pairs of 2 with 1 plug running from each set.

i did notice both solenoids look rusted on the outside pretty good.

WOW thats not good. Drain that immediately and replace with ATF. You are asking for trouble if you run it like that. What can cause it look at your trans cooler see if its busted. That could be one place where water coes into the trans. I would run a flush to flush out the complete system. But thats just me and hope nothing is damaged.
