    tranny,,, help

ok i just put a automatic tranny on my car and i am installing the axles. when i put the rotors back i noticed one thing. the wheels move and the car is in park.
does it supposte to do that????
i put the shift cable on and the wheels still move while the car is in park. is this because the selenoids need powers so they can lock the wheels when the shift is in park????
its a automatic tranny for a 90 accord ex.

Do they move just a little bit, or like keep rolling and rolling and rolling. Also, are they rolling in opposite directions or the same?

they keep roling while the shift is on park.
and they move in different diractions.
i have been told that i have to put the batery back so the selenoids can get power to work. is this true??????

I think the way the gears are in the tranny when both wheels are down it doesn't move forward or backwards in the same direction. See if you can get somebody else to try and turn them both are in the same direction, i bet they won't go.

they are not suppose to go both in the same direction. but they don't suppose to move when the car in shifted in park too. anyways. my dad put the wheels back and i put tranny fluid in and now they are not moving at all. today i will put the tranny at work for the first time. i got like 9 bottles of tranny fluid so i can do a flush.
i am keeping my fingers crossed,,hoping that the tranny would work.
          wish me luck guys.
