Boost Gauge Wiring

Ok guys, I got my boost gauge hooked up but I cant figure out what to wire it to make the light come on. I want it to come on when I turn my lights on. I know the black wire is a ground. Also want to know what kind of wire to use to extend the white wire. Any info would help. Thanks guys!

on the driverside kick panel where the fuses are, there are extra ports that you can connect a female connector to. one of them is relayed to switch on when you turn on the lights. just have to play guessing game on which one it is cuz i dont remember. but one of them draws current when you turn on your parking lights.

18 guage should work just fine.

i use speaker wire and it works great.
