assuming you mean solenoid, your going to have to be a little more specific. there are about 3.2x10^8 different solenoids on the car.

Thats the shift solenoid for an automatic accord isnt it? You should be able to pull those off auto accords like no problem. I am pretty sure there are plenty of those. Make sure you dont get the two mixed up.

Not really sure usually me and my buddies just replace em. You can prob tear em apart get some brake clean or electrical cleaner to clean it out but really dunno. Never really opened one up just replaced em. If I remember they have screens in them. Might want to clean that out with brake clean. As for the solenoid itself I am not really sure.

ok dont answer if you dont know

if i recall correctly they are a sealed type solenoid which means your gonna be best off replacing them straight up

I've tried to clean them and then make sure they click and all and they still throw a code. I guess the resistance has changed in them. The only thing to do is replace them.

the solenoids are like little electronic switch nozzles. The keep the pressure built up inside the incoming side and when it reacheas the pressure point then the ecu lets them open and allowing the fluied to bypass onto the other side of the path at a higher psi....its like a electronic pressurized switch for fluid...REally, you cant cleanem out, u usally just swapem out for a new or good working one!
