How to clean

I'm gona clean my manifold, throttle body, plenum, egr port, of my 91 Se CB7 .. But, What it's the better cleaner carbureator cleaner, gasoline, help, really want clean the car. Tnx

i use degreaser and a pressure washer. no sweat.

inside a better cleaner would be throttle body cleaner with a rag.

not to sound stupid or anything, but if you're pressure washing the Intake mani, can you spray the TPS? or do you remove anything electrical before spraying the life out of it?

ya just be careful.i'm sure when he sprayed his with the pressure washer he didnt use full pressure,if he did than he is pretty careful and patient.

throttle body cleaning

best bet is to remove the throttle body from the manifold. just remember were the vaccume lines were and unplug the sensor. any type of cleaner degreaser will work but i use carb cleaner it worked well. also use a toothbrush cause its easy to get to small areas. clean all over and on the plate and spring release for the plate. after ,carefully clean at the opening of the manifold. when don dry off well and install. good luck dogg.

Now all it's clean, and the car runs smoth. I found something really good for clean all the mani, the name is "oil eater" my mom used for the clothes and the kitchen, but really works good on the car, you can find this thing on costco.
