steering system

ok guys i just finished swaping the automatic tranny and i run into a few problems.
1. when i turn the steering wheel on both sides>>> my steering wheel kind of gets stuck while i turn it. i mean its light and all but it gets tuck little by little.
and when i take a turn i kind of hear this noise coming from the wheels.
do u guys know what it is?????

axles are ok. how do i check if i got air in the system. (i changed the tranny so i had to disconect the steering system hozes from the shaft speed sensor)
i also her this noise whenever i am turning.
how do i take the air off the system.
