    ECU and Cluster

    Hi everyone.

I am wondering if having the wrong ECU in the car (Specific Model) could cause problems with the cluster... for instance, the Tach. not working, Temp. Fuel, etc.

Reason I am asking is that, my winter project car... the wiring harness was finished... so we got a new one... ECU Was Finished, my buddy had about 10 laying around, we grabbed one from another EX-R (Different year though), and plugged it in. I just wanted to see if the motor would start... which she fired right up, but none of the cluster instruments worked properly, at least tach, fuel, temp... (speedo sensor is disconnected for the time, new one on Monday).

If the ECUs are Interchangable, or only specific ones will fit, do you guys have a list of ECU (Honda Part No.) that will work in a 1992 Honda Accord EX-R, 2 Door Coupe, with ABS, Airbags, A/C, and 4 wheel discs.

    Thanks,

    Kev

(Project Page, and pictures coming soon).

      I will check that today!!

Part of the Cluster worked.... All the Light Indicators (SRS, ABS, High Beams, DRL, Turn, Oil, Battery, etc) worked perfectly fine.
