    Power Seatbelt Problems

I am having problems with my power seatbelt on the driver side. The passenger side works fine and dont have any clue what is the reason for the driver side not working. I have checked the fuses and they all seem to be great. The box under the passenger seat is correctly connected and so is the connection under the driver seat. The driver belt is stuck in the open position like when you turn the car off to get out. When you shut the door it doesnt go back like it should but if you pull it back a little it will move. Then when you open the door it slides to the open position again. The light in the gauge cluster is also annoying the hell out of me cause its beeping too. Please if anyone could help me out that would be great. Looks like if I cant fix the problem I will be taking it to Honda and let them fix it cause right now I hate to drive the car cause of no seatbelt which is not good.

YA, doubt that because that runs everything like you ding for leaving your keys in, and interior lights when doors are open. So anyways don't bother with the switch unless your ding doesn't happen and your interior lights don't come on when you open the door. (make sure your roof liner light has the switch set to *when the doors open = on*)

I'll be calling in shortly to get more info about the auto seatbelt warranty

All my lights inside the car work and for some reason I think it might be the motor, although it doesnt quite make since seeing the seatbelt will return to the open position when you open the door or turn off the car if you have pulled it manually up the track.

The seat belts are controlled by a switch in the door latch. More than likely you will find the wires cut by the window regulator, that is what I have found anyway. The door switch is for the lights and the key warning beeper.

Hondas have a lifetime seatbelt warranty, so take it to the dealer.

I'm going to take the door panel off tomorrow and see if I can find anything but I believe that its going to be a problem the dealership is going to have to fix.

After experiencing loss of power to my power seatbelts and stereo, I checked the stereo's fuse, replaced it, and I now have power to the seatbelts and the stereo once more.

Cliffnotes: Power seatbelts and stereo are both run off the stereo's under-hood fuse. Just thought I'd share what I've learned for others' future reference.
