i think it's the cap or rotor, is there anything like foil or something i can put on it so i can move it off the driveway?

Look at the rotor. There is a metal edge that can get worn. Check to see if it looks burned or chared. If so replace it and see if that solves the problem. It could be the coil but I highly doubt it. Check the rotor first.

It just pops off. You kinda have to work at it. It is on there tight! Anyway, good luck with everything.

You probably either cracked the rotor or the plastic cap that sits under the rotor. I think I broke mine when I replaced my rotor a while back. Honda has those too. I don't think you necessarily need a new dizzy. Good luck.

I just brought a dizzy from a 89 accord, everything is all fine and dandy now it is running a little bit rough but I'm hoping that's cause i munted the #4 plug wire removing it from the old dizzy, hope thats why it blew some smoke too =/

but other than it running on 3.5 cylinders, it's all good

thanks to all that helped me
