Ok, a little while ago my drivers side window motor failed. I pulled it apart and found the teeth on the Nylon gear are worn (the only non-metal gear in there of course! 
) So i've searched everywhere, the auto-electrician can't find a gear anywhere CLOSE to it. I don't want to buy one from the wreckers because you have to buy the complete motor (so I won't know the condition) and it may do the same thing in a couple of months anyway. I pulled a motor from a 3g and pinched it from the wreckers without opening it all the way, turns out the gear was different! So its been about 3 months without a drivers side window (trying to have a cigarette is hell!) and i'm getting desperate. I saw the cheap motors w/regulators on ebay ($40USD i think) and was wondering has anyone bought them? I want to swap the gear over into the original motor. Are the motors the same as OEM ones? If i buy one and its different I will be extremely desperate. Not sure if this is the right section to put this in either. Sorry for the long story too! Thanks..
