    stuck in gear while cold.

i havent been driving my accord much lately because i chose to park it for the winter in september.

well my mastercyl took a shit in my civic and with out any funds to fix im driving the accord again.

do any of you guys have an idea of why my transmission is stubborn to allow gear changes when the car is cold and maybe for the first 10-15 min of driving? is the slave cyl bad? how do i check?

    thanks in advance

Check for leaks. Then try topping off clutch fluid. If not that... maybe tranny fluid level?

i had the same problem in my accord what type of tranny fuid are you using is it honda or is it just motor oil. if it is motor oil then that is the problem it is too thick to let the tranny shift cold honda fluid would fix that

i checked the level of the clutch fluid today and it was empty after my car would not come out of reverse.
i would start the car and it would lunge with the clutch pressed to the floor.

i put more in, but i guess i need to bleed it because the car will only go into gear after the clutch is pumped.

im guessing even though i see no leaks, the slave and master cylinder are going to need replacing.
before i do this im going to bleed the system...have any suggestions?

this sucks....my civics brake master cyl went last week and now this....FUCK!

Running a master cylinder dry is the quickest way to kill it. The slave cylinder should be fine as long as you do not see the piston leaking. Try just bleeding it first before replacing anything.
