Check Engine Light

I have gotten a check engine light the light blinks 6 times my other engine didnt do it til i put a new engine in it i went to get a new coolent engine sensor but they had to order it so i took the old sensor off my old engine and put it on the new one but still check engine light still on hopfully the new sensor will take it off. Other then that it burns a lot of gas it want stay on even if i turn A/C on it shuts off if anybody had this problem or if u have or know anything please help me Thanks

after u put the sensors on just disconect the battery cables. this will clear ur ecu off any codes. then conect the cables again and see if the code still comes.
