Ight so most of you who have seen my member's ride thread no that I am going turbo(again) So this week I decided to check out my compression, hooked the car up to the scope and the 5 gas analyzer. SO this is what I got ignition wise the car has no problems, hardly any variation between the cylinders. With the 5 gas my HC's were kinda high a little over three, Co's were pretty good, O2 was kind of high, Co2 was a little low but not by much, A/f ratio was at about 14.78:1. Now the HC;s my teacher was saying could more thna likely be from the cams. Those 2 things didn't bother me, but I compression tested the car today and i got #1:225 #2: 175 #3: 205 and #4:230 At this point i'm kinda shittin bricks, I pull out the manual to see what the specs are suppose to be for my motor. (93 prelude si-h23a1) the specs were 135(no less than that) to 178(brand new)
My bottom end is completely stock only head work. So I'm kinda worried about those 2 cylinders but i don't if i should tear it down and put in new rings or not since according to the book thats fine? But that is a big difference between those cylinders. I am going to adjust my valves and then do a cylinder leak down test after i test it again
