i suggest you try it... hehe

if it comes back after you reset the ECU, follow the procedure to get the check engine light error code, and report back to us.

id diagnose the problem and find out what is triggering it then reset it iMO
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

        Maybe it jumbled wiring/connector loose.

I'd reset it, then if it comes back..check the codes and most likely that wiring/connector is loose.

I'm going to have to agree with 'Ztech... It's pretty simple to at least retrieve the code first, THEN reset the ECU. You want to know what the code is before trying to erase it, because it may be a harbinger of greater problems if not addressed immediately. If you don't find the reason for the code, just PM me with the number of flashes, and I'll translate for you.

Good point Kabuki. Like the 91 SE ABS prob that I had, the light came on and when I found out you can check codes for it, it never did it again.

Which does not mean there wasn't a problem to begin with, we did have vibrations related to the braking system and we would have found out if that was fixed, but my dad smashed the front end into some lady. Didn't even drive it that far from Honda dealer when he caused this.
