    jumping tach/missfire

    so like it says, i did a h23 i/m swap everything was fine friend drove my car came back said tack was jumping. i left the house got on it pulled till like 3500 then jumped to like 8000 and a bad missfire car was missing a grip then died reset the comp started right up now the promblam is i start it it runs i give it gas it goes to 1500 then dies wtf cel is 43, changed the dizzy internals coil p6 comp any help would be good i need to go to work tomarrow and missing my dads b-day

    What internals did you change. Usually an ignitor causes bouncy idle.

      tach jumping idles at like 750... so i figured out that everythings fine till i give it gas then it misses and dies

              so changed the whole dizzy cap roter ignitior still same problams

                check the main relay under the dash, it controls the fuel pump. the leads on it could possibly be cracked causing a bad connection and thus your jumping tach. I had mine replaced when i did my ignitor/dizzy/cap/rotor/wires/plugs.

                  so i kinda figured it out... i nput my a6 parts back on, it would fire but under a load it would die so i changed the fuel filter started right up everythings fine wish i didnt take the h23 i/m off but whatever..........so h23 i/m forsale now

                    check you injectors and pressure regulator too...they may have been damaged or dirt may have gotten in them during the swap...also check for vacuum leaks...

                    code #43 relates to the o2 sensor or fuel supply system...by the book you should check the following items in this order (this is based on what you have told us):
                    1. Fuel Injector
                    2. Injector Resistor
                    3. Pressure Regulator
                    4. Contaminated Fuel

                      so i got my car fixed today after replacing fuel pump, filter,injecters nothing also changed cap roter internals wires coil still nothing changed everything i was told to check/change from people on this site nothing fixed it so im not trying to be a dick i dont want to offened anyone but wow some people must go broke fixing shit they think is wrong it all came down to checking i had a loose ground all fixed much better now
