Ok guys, I need one of you guys expertise. Some of you might remember me mentioning a oil leak awhile back which could have been my rear main seal. Well recently I noticed that there is coolant in the oil spots left under my car. I started checking my oil, coolant and tranny fkuid twice a day trying to diagnose the prob. Well, tonight after backing up into parking space I smelt coolant, I popped my hood and could here some dropping(sounded like water). I check my upper and lower radiator hose but they are intact. I used my flashlight and looked under the passenger side of the car to see liquid dripping.....it looked like coolant with some oil residue. I checked the thermostat area where the lower rad hose is conected and saw some steam. The lower rad hose is intact but there is a hose below/behind the thermostat housing(?) that makes a U connection into the back of the block. It seemed to rusted/deteriorating at the clamp thats holding it
This seems to be the culprit thats dripping and rinsing the excess oil thats dried unto the engine block. My question is , do any of you guys know the name of this hose I'm referring to?? I took some pics with girls cam but she didnt leave her usb cable so I cant upload them. Does anyone have a engine diagram with the hoses labled??
Ok, I found a pic on the web, its not a cb but it will have to do....the arrow shoes a somewhat location of the hose i'm referring to...
