Tomorrow ( later today ) I'm going over to try to blast it repeatedly w/ an impact. If that doesn't do anything, I'll update tomorrow night. Until then, let the idears flow.

some ppl before were talking about secure a socket/breaker bar to it, and run the starter for a second until it breaks free? never tried it, and dont know how safe it is, but thats what they said.

can you fit a huge leverage bar/breaker bar on it?like a 5 foot pipe on the rachet handle?if so put all your weight on that thing and see what happens.

LoL, well....to do that, I would have to put my battery back in, starter plugged back up and etc. and so forth. Not to mention that pretty much, everything is disconnected from the motor, besides the crank pulley and all my clutch shit.

Oh yeah, motor swap.....h23 and all that jazz or whatever.

I'm just ready to get the motor in and deal w/ all the other bullshit.

LoL, yeah. Welp, I guess I'll find out tomorrow before I go to work. This is honestly I think the only thing holding me back from ripping the motor out ( this is my first Accord motor pull ), minus the clutch shit ( which will take forever probably too ) and misc. things beneath the motor. So, w/ my work/sleep schedule, the motor should be out by the middle of next........year?

We couldn't get our crank pulley bolt off and it took that special Honda tool for holding the crankshaft pulley in place, enough socket extensions to get the breaker bar out of the wheel well, and and a 2' extension on the already long-handled 1/2" breaker bar for a longer handle. It still took 3 decent sized guys to break it free. The breaker bar and extensions will flex- don't be scared.

I wouldn't try the starter method, as that sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

If you have a nice Matco or Snapon impact gun, you can torque that bitch off after hitting it full blast for about a minute, but it takes forever and you'll be nice and loose by the time you're done. If its the first time the crank pulley bolt has been pulled, you're in for a hell of a time getting it off.

this may sound weird and never thought it would work but here goes:

i was working on my car with my 1) header and 2) trying to get my auto tranny drain plug out. i was there for about 30 minutes per bolt and my dad came outside. He told me to tighten the nuts. (i told him he was crazy). I did it, and it broke the "bond" or unfroze the bolt. with it "unfrozen," it was hell of a lot easier to get the bolt off.

if you can turn it right, you can turn it left.

I'm 'bout to get the cutting blade and chop the sumbitch off.

yea try and tighten it and then loosen

breaker bar as long as possible..

if possible use a extention and hit the bolt with a hammer to loosen the stuff and then use a imact gun. im saying if u had a really long breaker bar u will be fine
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

the whole tighthen then losen thing doesnt sound too logical to me...if there is a bond thats holding it in place and you cant losen it wouldnt it be just as hard to move the bolt to tighten it? maybe im missing something...
