i didnt know where 2 put this so i put it here. My chech engine light keeps coming on but theres nothing wrong with my car.. does any one how i can get it to stup showing off it would really help.thanks

have you checked the code?

reset the ecu,undo your neg battery term for like 30 sec,than hook ut back up.what cel is it throwing.

well, first check the code, then fix the problem, and the light will turn off by itself.

you first have to check to see what CEL you are getting, then we can help you get rid of it.. under the dash on the passanger side. you should find one of these.. jump it with a paper clip to complete the loop

yeah i check the code and it turn on then it flash 2 times.. what would be the problem. hey thanks for your help. it sucks driving with it on but the strange thing is that it will come on when ever it wants 2 theres times that it doesnt come on and theres times that as soon as i start 2 drive it shows up.

so im guessing it was two quick flasshes or one slow flash repeating it self? i sounds like the o2 sensor.

yeah it flash ones then 2 quick ones so what would i have 2 do 2 get it 2 stop showing up i never realy worked on my but oil changes and system set up thats pretty much it. i dont want2 go 2 a shop 2 get over priced

once and then two quick ones would be your EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) probably clogged egr ports,or faulty egr valve,theres a diy on cleaning the egr ports,its not that hard.but ya thats cel #12 if you did read it right.when your egr ports are clogged you wont have any drivability symptoms,but you will fail the Nox test.the egr valve dont even open up until around 1600 rpm.good luck.
