    efi problem maybe?

Hey guys help me out here, i dont know much about EFI systems cause i just upgraded from a 3gee carbie to a 4th gen efi. The first few days it was running alright, starts up first go etc. Then i left the car for 3 days without driving it at all. I start it and nothing was wrong, then i drove around for like 1 hour or so and i parked it. I went back to the car to start it and it didnt start? Its like when u gotta carbie and the fuel isnt burning, u hear the starter motor running but it wont catch on? Then it starts and it stalls.....So i wait for 10 seconds and start it again and it starts? What happen there? Sometimes it starts with no problems, some other times it takes awhile to start and catch on, feels like i got a carburator all over again =(.
Could it be the EFI system is getting dirty or maybe the spark plugs need changing, i checked the spark plugs and oil, radiator fluid and it all seems okay.

It really scares me when i start it and the engine runs for 2 seconds and u see the RPM just drop down to zero and engine shuts off.....Did it a few times today, had to wait like 15-20 seconds to start it again.

It don't seem like it's anything mechanical, it seems to be electrical since you were running fine, then sometimes it doesn't run right or start up right away, etc.

Like Fizz said, it may be your main relay, or something electrical in your ignition system. Check for broken/loose connections in this system.

It does not seem to be an electrical issue with your starter circuit, that seems to be working fine.

It sounds like the fuel pump relay, check it.

This will help you locate it

The main relay is located behind the dash on the driver side to the left of the steering column. It is hidden above the silver cruise control box. After removing the cruise control box, you should see the main relay with a gray and rosy colored base.

Remove the cruise control box using a 10 mm socket
      Remove the relay
Squeeze in the connector lock and
Unplug the connector from the relay
Installation is the reverse of the procedure, although it isn't require to bolt it back at its original spot. Move the relay to a low, suitable spot where it is cool and away from heat vents.
