Front Mount Intake???

Does any one know how these work?They have a plastic over the filer to protect it I guess but then how does it get direct air?How hard would it be to custom mount it on a stock bumber?Thanks,Also anyone got pics?

No this is why people dont use it:

1. If your going to have something like that get a real turbo for gains.
2. Its Considered rice.
3. A CAI or SRI is just as effective.
4. All that is is just extra tubing and extra room.
5. And did I mentione rice.

if anything its less affective then a ram air, since its only ramming into the back of the filter then to be directed up the pipe.

haha yeah you might as well get your cb boosted...cuz you're already one step closer, although THIS isn't an intercooler (unless its the same thing). But yeah i think these work close to CAIs, the only difference is of course obvious.

i kn ow some people who have them on b series motors and they work great. alot of people in south florida use them and felt major gains, they just look ricy, but if dont care about what people say, get it.

1.I have an Auto and im not doing a 5spd swap just to get turbo.

You want gains buy a Vstack but I would say screw that. It is rice dont deny it. You dont have to have manual for an auto you can still turbo with an auto if you read up. 91accordoexr33 had an auto turbo and a couple people on here...So learn about that first. If you like it go for it but if you get flamed for it dont say I didnt warn you. Go to an HT meet with that on you will be flamed to hell or even better post it on that site.

Not nesecerily, I read in another thread "a pipes a pip" the filter is everything when it comes to the CAI, A throttle body would also help.

They are 116 new from arospeed, and I can get one for 60 from a friend.But the piping is gona be a little bit more.How do you use a filter on the velocity stack?
