Is there supposed to be a wire here?

This morning my car won't start, I'm getting the click, but no turning over. I even tried jumping it. I'm guessing it's the freakin' starter, but before I rule out anything else I want to know if there's supposed to be another wire where the red arrow is pointing in the picture. I think I remember there being something attached to that, but I could be wrong.

there has to be two wires attached to the starter the thin one and the thicker one that bolts up with a bolt. post a clearer pic

I believe there is already a wire going from the battery to the bolt with the green arrow, I was just wondering if there was supposed to be something hooked up to where the RED ARROW is.

12V to the red arrow will make your starter spin, without engaging the flywheel.

Try jumping between the two big posts and see what happens.

that one the green arrow is pointing is the ignition wire....u could easily see the thick wire screwed on to the starter!

the green arrow is pointing to the rear large stud with the nut on it. I believe it has 12v right now.

What I'm asking is if there is supposed to be something attached to the large stud in the front, with the red arrow pointing to it.

looks like the starter or just the solenoid had been replaced, imo. mine only has one stup for the power wire.
