driving issues (iradic idle down )

SYMPTOMS
the car starts up fine and idles at the 1000-1500 while warming.... but when i'm waiting at a red light it idles fine at about 750-800 then all of the suden it will idle WAY down almost stall .... with the one exception it only happens in drive (happened once in my driveway in park)


CHECKED

i got the chargeing system it checked out it came back fine
the fuel pump,tank,filter are only one year old (changed all at same time mid feb last year)

oil was low a quart but fixed that
coolent was fine

MORE INFO:
warm idle 650-700
only engine mod SRI


any ideas??

What is your idle with the engine warmed up in park?

ummmm... Alright, warm up the engine, unplug the IACV and adjust the idle to about 650RPM (you will need to turn the screw counter clockwise). Turn off the car, plug the IACV back in remove the "backup" fuse from the fuse panel for 10 seconds, put it back in. Start the car, problem fixed.

BTW, the idle screw is to the top left of the intake pipe on the throttle body.

ok so i feel complitly stupid (i forgot the markings started at 500 then went up instead of at 0) went outside to change it and was like well s""" what a f'n moroun

so in reallity i'm idling at 700 (park) and about 800 driving


changed all the info up top too
