bump.. for pics.. i want to adjust mine as well. i find it being really low at times when im braking at a ditch or something. also reverse is really low so that it rattles...

so what procedure do i ahve to do? i read that you have to disconnect something? but that sometimes it kills the car?

    thanks..

if your idle is around 750-900 at idle leave it alone, if its rattling/shaking in reverse you may have a worn front torque strut.......a.k.a mount.

the rattling / shaking improved when i did spark plug changes, but i notice it to be shakey mostly in reverse.

i also notice the idle to drop a bit at times at stop lights, and what not. but at times sitting at a red light it is okay and alirght, not shaky like reverse.

perhaps i should take a pic of it after the fans come on?

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

thats only to adjust idle when it bounces...i mean yea it can adjust idle but u use the idle screw or fix the tensioin with the throttle cable priority 1

o,I read the article again it's about idle too fast,so,if the idle is a bit lower,is there anything that we can adjust? There is no idle adjuster on our car?

i feel it is idle, because when at times i notice it dipping a bit low when im braking and what not. at reverse also, it is as if the car is going to die out cuz of the low revs (similar to the feel of standard)..

so that's my thinking, other than that at times the idle is normal and the steering wheel doesn't shake like that.

so how do i do the piority 1? the cable tension?
                  hahahahah

                    bump ..

should i mess w/ the tension or adjust via the screw?

                    i was thinking the screw.

it has irratic idling speeds, at times its like its really low as if its gonna die out, yet at times its okay..

do u adjust it w/ car on? after it is operating temp? then go from there??

                            or when car is off?
                            hahahahah

I would say in the morning, warm up your car to the normal rpm range you are having and then adjust it.What do you think man?
