Tranny acting weird!!!

i got a 90 ex and these are the tranny`s symptons its an auto tranny btw : she hits 1st, 2nd, 3rd and when its time to shift to 4th she slips a little :X and it sucks, rpm goes super high then goes back down again and thats when its shifts into 4th gear :S

any ideas on what this could be or mean would be very helpful!

I heard a tranny rebuild can be more expensive than just gettting one from the junkyard! so i need tips on what to do to make my cb7 go varoooooooommmm once again! since im not driving it hard cuz of this. another question, just in case i need to get another tranny, does a tranny from a 93 accord ex fit my car ? if so ? are there any advantages :P

first do an tranny fluid flush. if that don't help then it means something wrong with the tranny. but that doesn't mean that the tranny is gone yet. it depends on how u drive it. when it goes out then u can buy any tranny out of 90-93 accord. its really easy to swap it.
the only difference on the 90-91 tranny and the 92-93 is a sensor which is located in the front of the tranny. just make sure when u get the tranny from the junk jard get it with all the sensors and with the speed vehicle sensor and the shaft speed sensor.

there is a DIY thread here about auto tranny swap.
just make sure u get the new tranny direcly from the car so u can see how many miles the car has on it.
