    My Compression

So i recently put the h22 in, and have no spark, and figured i'd check compression while i had the plugs out. i measured approximately the following
    cyl
    1 180
    2 250
    3 140
    4 190

I did forget to open the throttle, but other than that, this doesn't seem too good to me. this is crazyvtec's old motor, so it hasn't run in months and months.
tell me what you guys think? i didn't do a leakdown test or a wet compression test, but thats next.

I would try and redo that compression test. looks like you have some false numbers there.

Were you consistent on how many times you turned the motor over for each cylinder? Those numbers are all over the place.

I've always cranked the engine till the reading stabilized.
Last time I had a cylinder read extra high from the others, it was coolant leaking into that cylinder.

well despite the readings, it started today and sounds awesome. The JDM distributor was giving no spark, so i swapped all the internals for my f22 internals and wiring harness with external coil, and after fixing the 180º off, it fired right up. i'll do another compression check now that it's running, i probably had excess fuel built up in there too.
