    Transmission To engine bolts

I want to mount a f22 block onto an engine stand and the bolts that I wanted to use were to short. The bolts that i wanted to use were the ones that you use to bolt the transmission to the engine block.

Now my question is whats the size of those bolts that hold the transmission to the engine block. whats the thread pitch specifically?

I need to order a set and I cant figure that out. And I checked about every store around here for them already.

I believe they are 12mm x 1.5 pitch, because I had the engine on the stand couple weeks ago, when I had to tear it apart for blockwork.

In my 91 Helms service manual, it said 12mm x 1.25, but that was not right, if I'm remembering correctly. Reason I say that is, the head bolts are 12x1.25 so they should have worked and they did not, I remember that much. I ended up buying screws at a hardware store.

Here is the confusion.....I went to ace and got a nut and screwed it onto the bolt that I needed. Now the nut I got the thread pitch was 12x1.25. I tried a 12x1.5 nut and it didnt work.
