    ticking from plug cylinder 4

i just recently finished replacing my lower tube seals. upon completion, i also did a valve lash adjustment/check. as far as i know everything was done correctly. but for some reason i'm still getting a tick in cylinder 4 (can feel it through the plug wire, and can hear it slightly). not to mention it was worse before all of this, but i thought doing the adjustment and replacing the spark plugs would fix the problem. do you think i may have internal problems causing the ticking sound?

Not sure, but I know my F22a has a fairly noisy top-end. And just like you, valve adjustment and spark plugs didn't do much. I've heard it mentioned a couple times that these engines have a noisy valvetrain, but I don't know how true that is.

it's not really my top-end ticking though (although i just might not be able to hear it). i hear it at idle mostly, and while accelerating. i just don't want it to be a huge fix

did u do this with the engine completely cooled down? maybe when u were tightening the lock nut, the adjusting screw moved some..... have you doubled check your measurments?
