wow this sounds like a big problem ... do you have ABS brakes? also who did the brake pads on your car? I would double check the calipers ... also it is possible that your rotors may be glassing over if something got on them cause if it only happens on like your 5th braking or during high speed braking it sounds like it could be due to high temperatures on the pads or rotors which could also cause i a squealing sound sometimes ... hope that helps but i ll ask around to see if anyone else has any ideas

No no no, It actually mostly happens when I cruise at around 40-45. When I go nice and fast there's pretty good brakage, today was the first time it happened when I was going fast, and i nkow there's more vacumage when you go fast, so like that mechanic said it could be a vaccuming behind the pedal. No longer have a cb7.

Word might wanna check that check ball that goes through vacuum line to manifold. You cant miss it it goes from brake booster/check valve deal/vacuum line to intake manifold. That might cause it but yea. I am still stumped.

The brake booster runs off vacuum. When the booster does not work, it usually just makes the brakes harder to press, but it does not make it hit the floor. Take it back to the mechanic. He needs to stand behind his work.Originally posted by 407accord... MY FUCKING pedal is hitting the floor.
Brand new brakes, new booster, 3rd new master cylinder, and new lines off the master with it being bled and flushed everytime, and i'm not leaking fluid. wtf is the problem?
When you actually put your foot on the brake pedal, how does it activate? I'm thinking that the cable or w.e that makes the booster run is loose or something. like doesn't a line get pulled which activates the booster? I mean this is ridiculous.
this other mechanic i went to said that these cars are by vacuum and the vacuum is bad or some shit like that.
