    boiling into overflow, tailight out

Where the radiator cap boils over into the overflow tank thingy, its like steaming cause hot water is being pushed into it, lotta pressure and steam comin outta there. the car doesnt overheat, just seems like alot of pressure from heat and its bubbling i can hear it into the overflow tank thing.

also my left tailight is out, you think it's just the bulb...are there fuses to check or should i just replace the lightbulb?

Taillight - "check" the bulb first, if its good then go about the fuses.

Check your cap for the radiator. You can pressure test it to see if its within spec.

Yeah...test your cap. That might beour problem Also sometimes whenever your car is running really hot, the coolant will expand and go it the overflow. If it steaming Iwould think it was running hot. Your fans working?

I've yet to hear or see my fan on...when would it come on? I had a leak recently and put some leakstop stuff in it until i can get money to fix it. The car kept overheatin cause all the coolan/water would leak out, then it would be normal when i filled it up, so i poured some leak stop stuff in it. Then it started doing this, but not leaking. It hasnt said it's overheating though no matter how long i drive it for. I just filled up the water all the way up, did i maybe put too much water?

I have no coolant, just water.

How do i check the taillight bulb? will i be able to see it just be looking at it, or do i gotta take it out.

Is it bubbly? Could be blown HG and such worst case scenario. But if you can get your cap tested that will eliminate that problem. The bulb will look burnt out which will look all cloudy inside. Also if your tail lights out just turn on all your lights and get a buddy to step on the brake should tell you which one is out.

The water sounds like its bubbling ya, and it's steaming cause its so hot when it is pressured into the overflow. How do i check if its the HG? Why doesnt the car overheat if that shits so hot is what i'm curious about. Is the car safe to drive ya think? I havent had any real problems, I just been drivin it to work and school.

Think any of this is related to the coolant/antifreeze leak I had until I put the Stop Leak stuff in...?

I noticed the SAME thing you're describing, water being pushed into the overflow tank/reservoir. the water was bubbling, yet the guage showed nominal temp. I have an aftermarket radiator cap . I think that might be what it is.

I've been taking my cap on and off ALOT lately cause the leaking thing, which i think is my radiator. The last time i took it off I noticed I lost a chunk of the rubber seal and It was pretty messed up, I didnt think that would affect it though.?

My 92 wagon, which has the same engine as a CB7, last year got so hot. Then it drove normal. Then a few days later extremely hot after just starting. Then very normal for awhile. So I drove LA to Vegas and had to turn on the heater all the way just to get there and back the next day. Back in LA I had the radiator cap replaced...still got hot..replaced the water pump....still got hot...and the fan did turn on... still got hot....replaced the radiator...problem fixed.
