ecu questions?

okay guys i just want to get a few things straight. plz answer or correct me on theses ecus.
the p14 ecu comes out of the h23 prelude but the p12 also comes out of the prelude and im assuming it has the f22 motor. i have a pt6 ecu in my car right now. is the pt6 the same as the p12. does the p12 have a speed gov, and does it controll duel runners. does the p12 have a more aggresive fueling map than the pt6. i know the pt6 and p12 redline the same. when i swaped the p12 the check engine light did not come on, but i was expecting it to because i thought you need a knock sensor. now where does the p14 redline and does it have a speed gov? im trying to figure these things out because i did the h23 head swap and im wondering what ecu is best. what about a chipped po6? thanks.

Chipped p06 is best out of all of them. pt6 will run it but not to its potential. P14 would be the one I use but it requires a ks. This is why your best bet is the p06. Only thing you will need is a map for it when you chip it then your set.

what about the p12. is that just like the pt6 or what.

Somewhat. But the p12 on the prelude had a single runner intake i think not the dual runner like the accord.

oh. okay. thanks nail05. but i have one more question. on a stock p14 where does it redline at. i hear 7700 but im not sure.

7700 is not even close. Try like 6500. Or around there but 6500 max. Its not an h22a. Actually even an h22a doesnt redline that high unless you got a type s or euro r which is like 8000.
