Ok guys the car still wont pass inspection and now I have 1 or 2 additional cels. The 1st one was 43, now Im getting 10&6 or 16 I dont know. But it does seem like an injector problem from all the bogging when Im at wot and the no power in 5th gear. Carbon in the spark plugs, when I change them and check later there is always build up. Misfiring alot. Before 10,6,or 16 cel there was no problem starting, now I have to crank it for a few seconds at 1st or it will not start, then when I crank it the 2nd time it cranks right up with a little help from the gas pedal. If I sit still I can smell the fumes. Had to pull off the highway 1 day because the fumes burnt my eyes so bad I couldn't see. Im guessing o2 and injectors, any other thoughts.

Just though I would add some imput.
If the smell is so bad it burns your eyes you should be able to trace the smell to the source. how are your fuel lines from the pump up to the filter? I have the exact same problem as you on my other car. A 92 nissan sentra se-r. I found two problems.
One,the rubber hoses that goes from the filter to the rail was leaking on both ends. No big deal, just loose. Two, I took off the fuel rail with hoses still attached and injectors still connected and primed the pump. Found the culprit.My injectors were leaking. So I am replacing all the seals and o rings right now. -
I have not checked the fuel lines, and so I should change the the seals on the injectors before I replace them?Comment
